I got out with Dancad really early this morning to go shoot marsh wrens , which was un-freakin-beleivable , but after that we decided to go to a couple of more places , so here's a mix of what we saw today , C & C is always welcome and appreciated:lol:

#1 Marsh Wren ( you can see the reach difference between Dan's almost full frame shots and this cropped from the 200 shot)

Very nice shots Wayne. The wren is sweet.

What's it like walking in the swamp?

On the way out to the Wrens 150 Yards out I got a big ass soaker when I stepped into a hole , standing out there was no problem as we had good boots on and were standing on old folded over bullrushes and grasses that kind of acted as a snowshoe of sorts ,,, the walk back in was pretty tough on the upper thighs , by the time we got back to shore I had a good burn going on there ,,,, it was fun and quite safe , i can't wait to go back again
;)

Excellent series. All great shots but the first one is my favorite. It's so hard to get a good shot this skittish bird. :-)

Best regards

Sindri

great shots! and to think they were taken with only a 200mm!! now u inspired me to get out and try some more. I dont have them giant lenses that it seems like you need to get good pictures, but u proved u can do it w/out one.
