Are these borders okay?

The first pic I was trying to do a border with a signature, the other just a border. Please give me some feedback. I am only using Photoshop 5.0.

That second photo is really blue IMO, I'd add a warming filter in photoshop to it.

To answer your question, the borders seem fine. How large are you printing these? I typically make my borders larger and larger as the image gets larger (but yet proportionally smaller). In other words, On a 8x12, the border is larger than on a 4x6, but not twice as big by any means.
