It was stressful, but a lot of fun. Now I want to do more. I'll have to admit, I loved the theme of this wedding. It took place in a 130 year old mansion. I welcome comments (but be gentle, it's my first time). ;)

Great pictures, they look excellent in conversion. Well done on doing your first one. Anything you would reccomend that you would do differently?

Yeah, I missed some shots I really should have gotten, an outside view of the house, the bride & groom leaving in their car, and maybe a couple of others... amateur mistakes. :o

Nice, Phil! I like the sepia conversion coupled with the setting and the guys' tuxes.

Let me know if you need a second shooter sometime. I'm not too far away. :)

Thanks for the kind comments guys! I'm in the process of trying to get the rest of them uploaded to my website. I shot about 550 and tossed about a hundred. A few because the picture was not good, but mostly because I took quite a few duplicates and don't see any need to post several shots that are almost identical. Being nervous I didn't want to risk taking just one of the more important ones.

Liza, thank you for the offer! I may just take you up on that. And if you can use a (noob) second shooter, say the word. I'd like to get the chance to see an actual pro in action.

BTW, here are a couple more just for fun.

You don't like the hats? :D I thought they really helped set the mood to kind of a gangster-era style. I really thought the whole outfit just fit the surroundings perfectly. From a reality standpoint though, if this wedding REALLY had been trying to keep true to the period, the guys would never have worn their hats inside the house. That would be considered poor manners.

I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of this wedding. Another thing I really liked is that two of the "groomsmen" were the groom's sisters dressed in pin-striped suits.

Thanks BTW!

I'll be happy to post them, but unfortunately they didn't find out until the day of the wedding that their hats wouldn't fit with their hair up (you can't tell in this shot). Still a unique look though.
