I love my 24" iMac but carrying it around like a 'laptop' has always been a real pain. I just saw that iLugger introduced a case just for this purpose and after watching the video decided to buy one. I'll post a review once I receive it.

They don't make a 24" Macbook :)

I don't travel that frequently with the computer to have made it advantageous to have a laptop. When I do it is usually to show slideshows of my photos to family and friends and I want the larger screen.

With this bag I'll be able to store the keyboard/mouse/power cord allowing me to use a smaller bag for just carrying the speakers when appropriate.

I had the Dell 24" Ultrasharp LCD when I bought my 17 inch MacBook Pro. I promptly gave it to my daughter. 17 inches is more than enough to show a slideshow to family, and if you need larger, it's quite easy to hook it up to a television. My television is a Panasonic 58 inch Plasma. I think that's quite a bit more enjoyable to watch a slideshow on than a 24 inch iMac.

If that luggage you're getting doesn't have wheels, you better get to the gym. :)

Mark- 99% of the time my iMac just lives on a desk at home, hence the reason I opted not to spend the extra money for a slower more expensive MacBook Pro and external monitor when I purchased it.

While carrying the iMac isn't so bad I'm not going to lug a 58" Plasma with me- my pictures aren't that good :)

Weight wise its only 24lbs, like carrying (2) 400 f/2.8s. It's not bad at all considering you don't need to hike with it or lift it to your head :)
