While in Japan I went to an art museum and there were a few of Monet's pieces there. After starring at them for a while I wondered if a intentionally blurry photograph would be as interesting as a blurry oil painting. So I tried a few shots and this is one I like the best.

Let me know what you think, you like it or is it just a crumby out of blurry shot.

I am familiar with his work, I guess this could be compared to his style as well, but when I took the shot I was thinking more Monet ha.

(PS. its Haas.)

Well stop it. Early in the last century there was a movement away from pictorialism which was photographers imitating paintings and the impressionist in particular. The movement was called straight photography and no longer did photographers try to imitate painters but emphasized the things that are unique to photography and photography started to be taken more seriously as an art form.
Haas I looked right when I pushed submit:lol:
Seriously I was just goof'n. If you like doing what your doing ROCK ON.

Never did care much for Monet. Always thought he should invest in smaller brushes and clean his glasses....

Thanks. I have taken similar shots with the bier in focus but for some reason I am leaning towards liking this one more.
