200L for Birds

I always use my 400L for birds. Today I thought I'd try the 200L with 1.4 TC. I like this lens but you have to get close.

Beautiful shot Rathke , Ive been using that lens for just over a year and while it suffers in focal length , when your within 15 feet it's as sharp any of the bigger lenses ,,, thanks for sharing

Wonderful capture with great colors, light, perch, BG..very nice.

I used that exact combination for more than a year and was quite pleased with it but always wanted more reach. I have been using the 400 F5.6 for aboy a year now and I am quite pleased but would like more reach:rolleyes:

Before I made the mistake of selling the 200 it was the best lens I've ever used around a feeder, without the tc. Nice moon shot!:)
