but I'm still glad I could get anything from as far away as I was (probably 1/2 - 1 mile).

nah its a great shot. great to show his setting and his perch on the tree. just wish those mountains were a bit darker or more rich color to highlight that eagle.

Thanks Bill, these eagles have returned to Barr Lake for many years now and the rangers are quite protective of them. You really can't get close at all.

You're not supposed to call it a crappy shot, in photo-speak its a "habitat shot" :D
