I am going to get into color management. I have been doing a lot of reading and researching and am just about ready to go. I plan on getting my prints done at a pro lab, possibly WHCC or mpix as they are the most reccommended. I just bought a Dell 20" 2007WFP and have a MacBook Pro 15". So now I need a monitor calibrator. I am stuck between the Eye-one display 2 or the Spyder2Pro. Any input would be great, they are about the same price from what I can see. I have read lots of posts on the two and they seem to be great, I just don't know which to choose!!!

Thanks for the help

Adam

i have the eye one display 2. it's very easy to use and shows you a before and after which is cool...and it'll remind you to recalibrate.

i've read reviews where the two were compared and they came to the conclusion that they do the same exact thing in the end, it's just your personal preference on which has the features/ease of use for you. spyder definitely has a cooler name though.

Eye One.
I've seen a few reviews where the spyder did less okay. (Also some where it did well, so YMMV).

I have a Macbook Pro and a Dell 2005FPW (pretty much the exact same setup as you) and I use the Spyder... It works really well and allowed me to calibrate both monitors seperately. They'll both work fine for you, I doubt there's a big difference in their functionality.
