Difficult object - can use advice

Hi,
Some times I need to "make" almost macro in the lab.
Now I have this object. Quartz window is giving me real hard time.
Any body have expirance with similar objects?

This is one of the best shots.
It is not bad, but I expect better.
It takes long time to find right angle.
Polarized filter is not working.
I was hoping one of macro gurus will get me advice..:(

Erm, Lord V is the dogs gonads at macro. Just explain what you want, slowly and precisely and you will get help. What is it exactly that is wrong for you; are you not getting the sharpness you want? Is there something in the image that is missing? Do you need inspiration?

If you don't explain in detail what your problem is then how can anyone help? Macro Lord or not :-)
