Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum. I just received the MKIII and though that I would take it for a test drive on Memorial day. I live in Michigan, and I heard from a friend about a great spot to shoot a nesting pair of Eagle's close to the house (Crosswinds Marsh in Sumpter Township). It turned out to be a great day, as the pair were very active, especially when the eagle was returning to the nest with lunch. Both shots were taken with a 400 D.O. f4 1.4x extender iso 200 at 1600. We are fortunate to have those pair that currently have several Eaglets in the nest at this time. Thanks for looking.... Tom
