I like the way the sun comes from behind the building, but I think too much of your picture is taken by the building on the left (which looks kind of dark) and the crane is a little distracting to me.
My opinion. A different position, maybe would have given much better results.

Still a nice picture, after you do some more cropping :)

[edit].. incidentally, the sun is not behind the building.. its shining from the left of the picture... hence the building on the left is dark... the sun is reflecting off the white tower on the right side :)

and since you're in Chicago, I was standing on adams, just half a block west of Michigan Av. facing north :) sun is shining from the west
