Is it possible to save Actions in PSE5.
I looked in the help and couldn't find any info but that could be because I wasn't sure what I was looking for.

If its like previous versions, No, you cannot write or record actions (or whatever the terminology is.)

It can RUN actions created using another version of photoshop, as long as each step is valid in Elements.

As David C says - you can't do it. Actions are one of the things missing from Elements that are in the full version of Photoshop.
