High,
Ive had my G2 for several months now without any problems. Also a Canon scanner connected to the other USB-port. Windows XP-system
Now I have a problem. When I start up my computer it doesn't recognize my scanner(scanner doesn't automatically startup) and the device manager-scanners and camera's says that that the drivers of the camera are damaged or not properly setup.
Now I disconnected my scanner from my PC, uninstalled all the software and drivers related to the scanner and the G2 camera and tried to reinstall the software and drivers(USB WIA)of my Canon G2 first.
But everytime there is a conflict. If I reboot my PC and switch the G2 in the playback mode, The Zoombrowser does not automatically startup and if I start the Zoombrowser manually and try to download pictures from the camera it says there is no camera connected.
while the USB cable is connected properly.
The system's scanners and camera's section is also empty and when I try to detect new hardware, it says
the drivers of the camera are not properly setup.
Does anyone know what's the matter here?
Thanks
