Once again, my 100-400 has jammed. From being a little tight zooming yesterday, today it has stuck solid at 100mm and won't budge.

As the lens is only 18 months old with light use, and has had the same fault repaired last June under warranty, are Canon likely to offer me anything in terms of repair?

Paying £1300 ($2100) for a lens which breaks twice in 18 months hardly displays the quality you would expect from a Canon L series.

Canon should repair it again FOC. Make sure you supply them with a record of when it went back last time and a job number if possible.

This is very unusual for the 100-400 and it looks like there is an underlying problem.
