Shooting my first wedding soon

So a photographer friend/ex-collegue of mine asked me to shoot his wedding, and it is coming up in July. I have been shooting for quite a while now, but I have never done weddings, and I am slightly nervous about it. Of course, I made sure he realized I had never shot weddings, and he does. He has also worked with me and my photography a lot, so he knows the type of photograher I am.

My question is this: Could someone take a look at some of my pictures and let me know if there is something very different that I need to do, or even think about, when I am doing wedding shots? I currently have an old 10D, a 70-200 f/4L, a 35-135 f/4-5.6, a 15-30 f/3.5-5.6, an 18-55 (kit). I plan on renting a whole slew of equipment and leaving mine as backup.

Anyway, some of my pics can be viewed here:

Oh, one more thing: Any wedding photographers in the Seattle area who would be willing to let me tag along for one of your shoots? I would really appreciate it, and I promise not to be in your way!
Thanks in advance for all C&C, it is most needed and appreciated!

Your portfolio is looking pretty good. I would try and do some engagement pictures and bridal pictures before the wedding. These "practice shoots" really help with seeing what you did right and what you did wrong.

from looking at your parfolio, you have nothing to worry about, u seem to know very well how to handle your equipment. Id be scared renting a bunch of stuff i dont trust to use in a wedding. Id rather use my old stuff that i know work then taking a gamble on untested stuff.
But like mrsOpie said, try shoot some pre wedding shots to test the stuff out and get the worry off your back.

Your technique is solid enough... I agree with both of the above. Just remember that a wedding is really a series of moments throughout the day. Do your best to capture all of those moments and I believe with your obvious technical ability you should do very well.

Thank you everyone for the confidence you're giving me!

Howzitboy, I was going to get a 5D and some L glass, the 10D I have is pretty old, and I don't want to rely on it. The groom has a 20D that I can use as a backup. Now I just have to pick what lenses I need.

Also ... what would be a good set-up? Right now I am thinking of a 5D and a 24-70 L. What are the other must-haves for lenses? I will have two speedlights, my 430 and his 580 ... not exactly sure what I am going to do with them yet. Any recommendations for lights? I have no assistant, it is just me.
