I took this while on vacation a few days ago. We were just south of Sioux Falls on the interstate. It went something like this:
Mom, why is dad pulling over to the side of the interstate?
I think he wants to take a photograph.
Not again!
Yes again.
Awwwwaaaaa!!!!

I took several images, then pulled the car up about 200ft. and took a few more. I had to trek through some tall grass for about 40ft. but only got one tick on my pants (that I know of so far). It was worth it!

The only post processing I have done is auto levels adjustment (very slight), a vary slight adjustment to the saturation of red, blue, and green, and a little unsharp mask. I did clone out a few dust spots. The image looks very close to how I saw it.

Canon 20D, Canon 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 II USM at 60mm, Tiffen Cir. Polarizer, 1/100 @ 8.0, hand held, ISO 100, Photoshop Elements 3.0.

Any comments are welcomed.

EDIT: It seems to have lost a little sharpness, the original (the one to be printed) is very sharp.

Lovin' my 80D

it looks a touch washed out to me. I do like it though. What size are you planning on printing it? It would probbaly look nice in a bathroom or a nice airy room

I can understand that when posting shots here on the forum, the quality of the image degrades and it has happend to me quite a few times. And most people will say the image is too blown out or maybe some people don't calibrate there monitors and what you see on your monitor may not be what you see on others. Nice shot btw.

it only looks washed out to me because there are bascially 3 colours to it. Also the green is a fairly mid/light green so it looks a bit pale. My monitor is calibrated fine and theres always the histogram to check too
