American Robin Showing Off His Inchworm

Was just sitting in the window hide this morning when this Robin jumped up onto one of the perching sticks in the yard and sat there long enough for me to get some pics. I didn't see the little bug till I was processing them.

I think he/she has a nest somewhere close. It spends a lot of time in my yard.

I think realistic birding shots are all part of the game. I have a young house finch that appears to be fed by his father. I'd like to be able to record that scene.

Thanks Steve. I do like the natural shots myself, although, the bird on a perch with smooth bokeh are nice too, but don't help much when your trying to see where a bird really lives.
