What does everyone use for Bird ID Software?
I have been using Thayer Birding Oklahoma, but am thinking about getting their full version which covers all of North America. I'm trying to hold out until v3.6 as it will have Vista support with it even though I'm still using XP I want the Vista support.
Also is there any ID software for Linux? I've done Google searches but cannot find any. I'm really interested in this as one day I plan to go to Linux and not have a need for Windows anymore.
edit: ok maybe I should say I've got books, but I've found software to be really helpful when you can pick what colors the bird has and it will list all the possibilities. Books can't do that. And I haven't seen a place online that can do that either, and also I don't always have internet (like when I take the laptop to the field).
