I don't think I've ever posted any of my shots in this section before; in fact I'm not sure I should be posting them here now as this is a knowledge sharing section and not actually a photo sharing section. Here we go any way, to set the scene a little. For the past 2 years there has been a party of Norwegian Honda Goldwing riders come over to Britain and stay in York for a long weekend, this year as their club President wanted to get married whilst over here they stayed in Gretna. I've taken shots for the British GoldWing Club on their last 2 visits and this year I did the same, although I wasn't the Wedding photographer I did manage to get a few shots.

1. Seemed strange to see people wearing traditional Norwegian dress riding Goldwings heading towards you

2. I don't know what the Police would say about the lack of a helmet

3. Here's the official Wedding Photographer doing the obligatory wing mirror shot, nice bloke actually; he's not been doing it long and just bought himself a pair of 5d's.

4. Just a shot of the Roller with the bikes in the back ground, the Roller was starting to show it's age a little with a few rust spots here and there.

5. Two of the GoldWingers in traditional Norwegian dress, I took this guy for a ride over the North Yorkshire Moors last year when they stayed in York.

6. This is one of the British guys that were chaperoning the the Norwegians this year, just loved the Lord of the Rings characters air brushed on the front of his Wing.

7. Group shot at the end of the close relatives, not looking at me though.

Last one, the happy couple. I hope I haven't processed it too much, what do you think?

I'll be first. Mick the last picture in my opinion is over processed. Bride and groom look like they belong in a wax museum. No offense please. The rest of the pictures are very nice.

I have to say I thought that I might have gone too far with the last one although to be honest I didn't do that much to it, it looks OK when printed out; I'm not sure why that should be. Here's the original, I altered his crooked teeth and turned her eyes to make it look as if she was looking at me and not the official photographer.

I think that it is the pp to the skin and not so much the teeth or eyes that pushes it to look overprocessed. Looks like a really fun event! Great shots!
