i've been thru the rebel manual and can't find where it says how long to charge a new battery. anyone know?

p.18: "A completely exhausted battery
takes about 90 minutes to almost
fully recharge."

p.19: "After the red lamp lights, continue to recharge the battery for an
hour to attain a full charge."

From my own experience if using the standard charger I get better results charging from 6-8 hours when I completely drain the battery. So just out of habit @ the end of the day I put the battery on charge & leave it overnight. I've looked everywhere for charging times and have not found anything yet.

I usually find 2 hours does the trick on a completely drained battery.

htbyron now does that apply to brand new never used batteries
but i'm guessing just leave them in until they are done

robertwgross yeah i might get the rebel in the future but i'm getting the 300d for now

roanjohn i will as soon as they get it to me
it's been here in the dallas hub since 5:54p the 17th
