Yep, was an awesome gig, but just about everything possible went wrong.

Got stuck in traffic in worcester and missed the first train, then nearly lost my wallet at the ticket machine with all my cards in, then got charged extra cause i ran on the train in fear of missing it without buying a ticket.

Gig went great, so did relaxing journey home. Got back to the car at Shrub Hill and guess what- screw right through brand new tire- Flat as a cardboard cutout.

Change it in the dark.

Home, processing photos till the early hours...

But hey, you didn;t get mugged for your gear on the way back, so it sounds like it wasn't all bad LOL.

I am in Aus, so it is pretty feasible to drive anywhere... i couldn't imagine taking my stuff on public transport...

No, I was busy taking the kid to Chepstow to pick up his 300D with a grip, up to tintern abbey for lunch and some photos, then costco for provisions and then back home to cheltenham only to have a blowout on M5. So there is me changing a tire in daylight but still. It was rush hour. And I limped home on a spare that was in really bad shape and needs changing.

However - I found a mail in my inbox saying that my quote for a site had been accepted and they wanted to get started immidietly. Cool!!!! That'll sort out the two tyres I need to get in the morning.

Looking forward to see your pics, though.

it was a bad day for tyres accross the county. apparently there was a huge crash on the M50 and they had to close of the entire side and land an air ambulance causing huge tail back by upton. I hear there was a blow out involved there.
