Series of photos of a Loggerhead Kingbird that decided to do its best impression of Pavarotti right outside my window :lol:.

Excellent set Jam. This looks a lot like our kingbird here. Ours have a little more white to the tips of the tailfeathers.

There's a whole bunch of them around here flying and catching insects in flights.

I bought myself a local bird ID book so i'm starting to get the hang of the bird ID's.

I've found my bird books to be of little help. The pictures you see here are way better than anything in my books. :)

How do you like that Canon 400? It sure gives some nice smooth bokeh.

Well this is my first dslr so take my words with a grain of salt.
But I love my 400D/Digital Rebel Xti, it's everything I could want :).

Or are you talking about the lens I was using?
The Sigma 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 APO DG Macro.
It's pretty good under well lit conditions, think it's paid for itself already, considering that I bought it used :)
