I think that's it. I've been inside that Chapel, it's great!

I don't know where you were, but you weren't here!

Man... I just came from Sweden and there are chapels like this all over the place!

Sorry joe, this is not in Sweden.

Wow, you mean to tell me that this is NOT a photo of the ISLAND STAVKIRKE found HERE (external link)?

I was certain that was it!

Or are you pinging me for not saying "Washington Island, Wisconsin, USA"?

Good to see you back over here Jo. You've been over on the People forum and we've missed you. If I get this right, you can have the next post, 'cuz I'm off to teach a class in about 10 minutes.

You're a bit premature SoccerRef:D

Who would have known that a building that unique is like a freakin' McDonald's! They're everywhere and they all look alike!

I wouldn't have thought so, but when I saw that photo, I figured it HAD to be the one I've seen photos of. (I've never been to Washington Island, but a friend of mine has been.) Now that I see there are several, there are some small differences, however, I now have no time to go figure out which one this is. DAMN, I thought I had a record!

Who is Saint George?

I hope you're joking! He is the patron saint of England (the English flag is the St George's Cross) and he was famous for slaying a dragon (St George and the Dragon).

Also. in Britain, there is an Order of Chivalry named after him.

I had no clue! Another educational moment on the "WAIN" game!

I'd have to say that this is not a celebration of St. George! The wagon could be a reference to St. George (I'm not sure), but St. George is not a focus of the activities here.

It is not in the UK.
