Even knowing this is Madrid is not helping - it is such a big edifice that there should be touristic links to it in/about Madrid but look as I might I come up blank. As for his 'handeness' I thought it looked righthanded i.e. taken from the back but heh what do I know with this being such an %^&*%&* scan ;)

I promise to use a Hasselblad on all future image posts

Having just posted the above I changed my search phrasing ;);)

And finally found this one with a view that IMO does it http://www.travelpod.com …083102300.madrid_park.jpg (external link)

This is the Parque del Retiro

OK all my wonderfull WAINers - I have been running out of choices (just a few more up my sleeve) but here is one that I have stripped the EXIF off. I have shown two pictures the actual "what is it called" & WAIN and a supporting image that shows the view looking into what it 'bridges' taken from the centre of the bridge span. I failed to get the full span because of a lack of wide angle lens to hand on that trip but this was at 55mm FL that should give you all a clue as to the length?

I hope not too much of a stinker but IMO certainly something to get your teeth into ;)

Right country and route - looks like it is not going to last long now :evil: but I do need the name of the bridge (yes it does have a name & I have the picture to prove it) and the river it crosses.

EDIT- Yes Ken you have the location oh so quickly!!! and its 'common' name is the Storms River Bridge but it does have a "name" ~ can you find find it for the extra points? NB To quote one website "It is erroneously known to many as the Storms River Bridge"

Now that bridge I distinctly remember on the way to Knysna. I remember zooming along the highway and doing a double-take at the sign and then pulling a u-turn* about 1km down the road.

* I wonder...is it still considered a "U" turn when driving left side :p

How did I do that, A bit quick to jump I think, had I looked closer I would have realized the difference in spacing and angles of the supports, and that this bridge is much shorter.
