Obviously not planned, but I quite like the cloud behind the bird, makes a change from a constant blue sky

very nice i like it a lot with good sharpness and colour i think if it was 800 on the longest it would look better. i should be camping near to one of the feeding staition this year so it will be a first for me.

Very sharp image. I'm surprised you were able to get such a clean (noise free) capture shooting at 800 ISO! Beautiful shot!

Thanks folks.

Jason - the original looks much better, especially as a larger photo. The quality is very low for the web. I tend to shoot in low light usually and regularly use ISO 400 and 800, although on this occasion I confess, I left it on 800 by mistake! A fluke shot.

Wow, what a excellent shot Helen, I wish I could see such beautiful birds like this, and of course, capture them in flight (and do them justice such as this shot).
