last camera was a yashica mat 124 g so have a lot of cacth up to do

May 21, 2004 11:37 | #3 I like the A80 since it has the flip out LCD, better control options (Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Custom Functions, etc.), takes regular NiMH AA batteries, and costs the same as the Nikon 4300.

I sold my old G2 and bought the A80 and was at first worried it would not be as good, but after taking a lot of photos with my new A80, I must say its excellent! Gear list : Canon Powershot A80, Nikon D70, 18-70mm Kit Lens, Sigma 170-500mm.

May 22, 2004 10:35 | #6 spent yesterday in tulsa ok checking out cameras, came home and hit new egg and orderd a canon A80 ,128mb kingston flash card, 4 rechargable batteries and a charger for 10.00 less then best buys wanted for the camera 389.00 plus tax, allways have had good luck with the egg, put togather over 12 pc,s for the family and only had one minor problem
