I use Photoshop all day, every day, and I'm developing RSI in the wrist and index finger of my mouse hand.
Would a graphics tablet be a better option for me? Any advice would be appreciated.
Damo.

But make sure it is rsi, I was diagnosed by the doctor with rsi and he sent me to a physio and she discovered it wasnt rsi, but a collapsed bone on the top of my hand. INGRID

I even changed jobs just so I would do less repetitive keyboard tasks. Then the pain went away. 20d / Tamron 28-75 2.8 / Canon 10-22 / Canon 100mm macro

Preventing thoose types of pains is really simple. 1. FORCE yourself into good posture 2. use a good chair/desk/mouse/keyboard 3. WALK AWAY often! Take a min and get up look around / outside ect I love my watcom and track ball, I feel both do help but the bottom line is if you do not get away a few mins every couple hours you WILL injure yourself

My day job requires 8hrs on the comp/mouse and I was getting the pains in my wrist and arms, until I got a keyboard tray. I don't like it so low, but the benifits are worth it.
