Went to the park today, took pictures of Various
things. I ran into my little friend again.

Thanks. I didnt notice that either. lol
But upon further review, it does.
It was walking around on it perfect.
No limping or nothing.

Nice shots. I agree with the above comments, broken leg, missing legs and all.

I have never seen one of these birds. I like the first one but agree with the comment on the missing legs on the other 2. You might try shooting vertical on these next time. This tall bird would work well with vertical framing. Good job on the focus and exposure for the 1st two. The 3rd could have used a little more exposure for the birds face. You might try using a layer mask and see if you can lighten up the face for more definition of the eye.
Nice series though. Isn't amazing what we see when we go back later and really look at the picture. IE: the injured leg.

wish i ran into one of those, what a striking bird. i love his feather pattern. that last shot , it looks like he is waiting for u to throw him a tidbit to eat.
