copy layers in cs2?

Is there a way to copy the layers from one file in CS2 and use them on another file? Layers such as color correction, etc.

In the layers applet, right click on the source layer -> click on Duplicate Layer... Next, in the dialog box, select either the file you are working on, for a copy of the layer, or select the target file (file needs to be already open), or select New to create a new file. Change the name of the layer if you want, hit OK. Done.

As far as I know there is no way of copying adjustment layers between files. But you can save each layer adjustment settings and then load it for any new file. Hope this is what you want.

Just drag and drop works fine. (from the layers palette of the old onto the canvas of the new file)

Yep, drag the adjustment layer to the other opened file in Photoshop and it should work flawlessly the way you wanted it to.

Are you thinking that you'd like to do this in a batch as well?
