I've just had an email offering my new license key and download instructions for Expression Media (formerly iView MediaPro), so anyone else who's entitled to the upgrade should get it shortly.

If you're downloading the WinXP version you'll need to rename the file extension from .smi to .msi before it will install.

I've got my email too... Do you know if you have to uninstall Iview first or does the installation take care of that?

I'm just hoping Microsoft doesn't screw this produt up. I can sort of see that happening.

It installs alongside iView MP 3.12 and I can now run either of them. Just about to see if the slow performance over a network has been resolved...

When I got the email, I decided to check the iView forums before downloading and it appears that a number of people are having real issues. It looks like Microsoft pulled the download for the next 24 hours or so the message says.
