Mike said they only received 5 cameras. I do have my tracking number and my camera will go ona plane some time today and then come home tomorrow.

This last month has felt like about 12 years. Everyone yakking about their new toys and I'm battling my pre-order. But, the wait is almost over. Have patience other CDW people. They will deliver eventually!

Congratulations Jim! You will love the new camera. The AI Servo is great. I can't imagine how your racing pictures could be better, but please post some as soon as you can.

Scott

.... So now I know why my credit card hasn't been charged!

So the waiting game continues.... at least I'll have a battery ready to go when it gets here! (charger here & battery arrives today) saved a ton on a charger on ebay!

At the rate they are getting cameras... I may have mine by Christmas!

I also had two secondary orders in that didn't require any access to my credit card. Be aware that in spite of what Adorama says they WILL authorize your card and lock your money for up to 10 days. It took two days to get their hold off my card. Norman's Cameras takes orders without even taking a credit card number.

I'm pretty excited about it for sure. Have read plenty on the AI Servo and am jazzed what I am hearing. The only negatives are minor, personal stuff that mainly comes from former 10D users not accustomed to the pro interface on these cameras. It will be a change for sure, but after 2-3 weeks I know I'll be right at home with it and really ready to rock.

I should have a few photos up some time Saturday night and then a gallery on Sunday.
