I love #3.
Last one could use a tighter crop IMO, but is very nice as well.
B&W versions (specially #4) need a bit more 'punch'

The photos look sharp, well focused and exposed reasonably well... The light beams are real nice and accentuate each image nicely...

Possibly a bit too many tilt shots... #7 is a bit different and is very creative, well composed, framed and the method has a lot of potential...

Geez, Rene'... I was checking #3 out for a different reason than composition... the young guy has a considerable resemblance to me when I was his age... (so that picture didn't do much for me, ha, ha)... I think the heavy glasses look more like a"Cary Grant Classic Style"...

I think 7 is great as it is. I'm not a huge fan of tilted compositions. Looking at them makes me tilt my head to get the image straight. I have been spotted tilting my laptop as well for the same reason.

Other than that - I think the pictures are really good.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys. 7 and 3 are probably my favourites too!

As for tilted compositions. i dont know why i tend to do them. i think that just personally, it takes a lot for a straight composition to look interesting to me. perfectly vertical photos just seem a bit dull sometimes IMO.

I do take them aswell though.

And to follow later, i just started the processing going on the support act - Winners.
I'll post them up this evening.

I think the tilt works *very* well in #5 and 2 (in order of preference), okay in #1, reasonable in #3 and not in #4 and 6 ;)

I think what you're trying to say is that the images are a bit tipsy. Seriously though, nice set. I esp like #2. I think maybe the forward tilt works a little better for me. The color/exp on 3 is excellent.

Love 2 & 7! Agree with Rene that 7 could possibly be a little tighter.

Maybe a little too much tilt on 4 for me. Looks like he is about to fall out of the image LOL.

Awesome work overall though... did your Ed like them?
