Our burrowing owls, sadly, had only one offspring survive this year. It was just too dry (until today) and there was too much construction in our area. Here are some photos of the little guy.

My Gear: 6D, 7D, EOS-M w EF-M 22 f2 STM and EF-M 18-55 f3.5-5.6 IS STM, 17-40L f4, 24-70L f2.8, 100 f2.8 non-IS macro, 70-200L f/4 IS, 400L f5.6,, Canon 1.4x II TC, Canon Speedlite 430 EX II, Better Beamer. In Southwest Florida near Naples. There are a lot of these little owls in South Florida. There's a fellow from the Punta Gorda area who has had some great shots of them on the forum also.

i like the second one, first is bit pixelated. look at those eyes, glad im not a rabbit or mouse. super shot!!

I've never seen owls around here yet, but supposedly these are around.

The first one was not as clear as I would have liked, but I loved the look on the bird's face. Love the eyes of these little guys, too. Thanks for your input.
