Yes. Our whole island is a sanctuary for these little guys. Usually each pair has 7 to 8 young, with about half of those surviving. Unfortunately it has been very dry here this year (until today). We are also having a new sewer constructed on our street. I think this pair was severely stressed this year as they usually have at least four or five surviving youngsters. Hopefully next year, they'll be back to normal. I've been trying to get a picture of this youngster trying to fly. He's definitely about to be on his (or her) own.
