That's a wonderful series. He actually was a bit shy about bathing in front of you, especially on camera!

Funny thing is, I was shooting, (trying to) swallows and suddenly a sparrow and this guy showed up at the shore, but only the sparrow went in the water.
When the sparrow left, the female finch came down from somewhere to join in. Thanx again! ;)

Very nice series and it shows nicely how imprtant water is for birds and not just for drinking.This time of the year I find the bird baths in my yard attract more birds than the feeders do any time of the year.
