Welcome to the POTN...

Why not just post the image right into this link? Read the "Sticky" on top of the front page of the Performing Arts section... It will help you get set up with your first posts...

Also feel free to comment on other's postings...

Everyone is out taking pictures on Friday's and Saturday's... wait a while, you'll get feedback...

It's a nice shot! I would love to see some with her eyes open though.

To be honest, it is a little flat and dark for me.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that is my honest opinion..,

I know school theatre doesn;t have million dollar lighting budgets, but i think there is still something to work with. I did a quick edit to see for myself, and if you enable "Image Editing OK" in your user control panel, I would be happy to post it for you.

A little brightening so you can see the detail, and saturation of the colours a little to give it a bit of theatre feel.

And I agree with Curtis. A shot of "looking into the stars" or something would be good too.

Please post more, I would love to see them.

Got the Flicker pics right up this time... Earlier, they were loading real slow...

The one with more color, is slightly more eye appealing for me...

However, the facial expression is "mild" for theater... sometimes, it takes more of an enunciation of a word in a song to be heard, and recognized in a song... or the exaggeration of the mood in a facial expression, to be seen...

Interesting... I would work more on the yellows and browns in pic #1. and try to bring out even more highlights...right now, the gray zones are somewhat overpowering...

Pity her one eye is in the shade... Apart from that: Nice. I don't think I mind the eyes being closed...
