I've had this picture for over a month. For some unknown reasons I shot it with ISO1600 and it was very noisy...I've use both Neat Image and Noise Ninja to save it...CC are welcome.

nice ibis shot ben. full of color. one suggestion i have would be to use the blur tool in photoshop to smooth out the background noise. sometimes neat image can overly smooth out the picture where you lose some of the details and sharpness of the subject too. using the blur tool is more tedious but the results can be quite nice. just my opinion. btw, where did you photograph this ibis. i haven't seen too many around here lately. last time i came across one was during the winter at san joaquin.

Thanks Hung for the tips. Perhaps, I will catch up with you to get more in details. I shot this at the local park in Huntington beach located on Srpingdale and Heil. To my surprise, there were about eight of them showed up that day!

Thanks howzitboy. Yes, the picture is quite noisy. I will try to do more work in PS and save it.

Cool bird. I really like the composition, and background colors. Would make a great wall hanger, if it wasn't for that 1600 thing :) $%it happens.

I guess at 1/320 sec. , it was overcast and you decided to bump up your ISO. Nice shot anyway. --Rick
