so i just got this monitor and i am very happy with it so far. i got the refurbished and used a coupon code to get 15% off (pm me and i will share it). i was hoping it would be a little taller, but over all i am happy with it. i calibrated very easily. my question is, so do i get it to go into power saver mode? when my computer sleeps, then the monitor starts cycling red, blue, green screens. i wish it would just turn itself off instead. any thoughts?

I got one and sent it back, did not find the picture that great. I returned it for a full refund and bought a 22" Samsung for the same price with a better picture.

I love mine!

But it should sleep automatically, if it doesn't and you haven't tweaked any settings on the monitor... I would call up dell before your refurb warranty runs out.

That's interesting... I have a 2005FPW (predecessor to 2007FPW, pretty much the same thing) and my friend has a 2007FPW that he bought after seeing mine, and both of ours have amazing colors, better than any other monitor I've seen. Maybe you got a lemon?
