We took the grandkids to Silverwood theme park in Idaho over the Memorial Day weekend. I took my new G7 to get some experience with it and test its mettle. It's a lot harder to get great images with it than my 20D, but it sure is a lot easier to carry on a trip like this one. I fear it will take a lot more practice to get up to what I want, if it ever will (no RAW!) so we shall see. I took these two with it though, and although the weather was uncooperative with dull gray skies for both, I'm not altogether displeased with either image.
I did drop the camera at the park - directly on the asphalt, but the leather case saved the day. Although I had to order it from Hong Kong, it was worth the wait.
