Taken with my new 100-400mmL IS F4.6-5.6, can you say sharp...? :) I cropped dead space around it. did a bit of color adj and USM C/C welcome!

Ah yes, quite the ugly bird. And a noisy one too. I grew up with a flock of them on the farm. They woke up about a half-hour before sunrise. And their eggs are soo darn hard! You can drop them onto the ground (not paved, of course) from 4-5 feet without them breaking...

Alot of people keep them around because they make so much noise when someone pulls in the lane...like an alarm system.

A very interesting looking bird and the details are quite good.Nicely photographed! A little more contrast in my opinion would make this one pop.
