Just hanging out on the deck today and these two "love birds" flew down for some "alone" time (at least that's what they thought). I'm still working on my focus (new camera and lens) and seem to have focused on the branch more than the birds:cry: .

I believe I heard somewhere that Mourning Doves mate for life.

The first one is nice. I have a pair here and they have taken up residence in my yard. The pig out then take a nap where ever they happen to be. In the grass, on the feeder, just anywhere. :)

If that's a Bigma, set the camera to AI Focus, instead of AI Servo. It will focus faster and not hunt as much. But low light like shooting into a tree will make it hard to find focus with any lens though. It needs light to work.

Thanks Mitch. I used the 300 mm w/ 1.4 tc, and it was on AI Servo :( and I used AEB to try and get the best exposures. Always learning. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the pics instead of the URLs to show from PhotoBucket.

I think you just copy the url, then when making a post, click the yellow insert picture icon above the text box and paste the url into the little popup that opens. That's how I link them from my host.
