Here is my first photo submitted for critique. I posted the final pic on the share photos forum earlier. The first is the original (except copyright and resize) with no post processing. The second is after cropping, levels, saturation, and burning the edges of the photo. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Butterfly photo taken at Sertoma Butterfly House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA.

Shooting info

Sorry, just read the sticky saying to post image capture settings. Here it is:

Camera: G2
Shutter: 1/320
Aperture: 4.0
ISO: ? Set to Auto
Size: 1600x1200
Macro Mode

I think that's the important stuff. Thanks again for any comments!

Nice shot, in my opinion, you would 've a better shot if it was assymetrical, or from the side, it would give a better artistic look. but I like the surrounding green.

Some small points for consideration. When shooting any wildlife from what I have seen one wants generally rather perfect specimans. This particular butterfly looks a little beat up on the hind wings, especially the right side. Also to a lesser degree a leaf or two in the background look a little chewed up.
Generally I like the pose of the butterfly but sometimes the underwing design and color are even more interesting that upperwing design. I am not familiar with this butterfly, assume it is some tropical species, so don't know about it.
