The photo in the shot was taken from a video game. I was discussing Forza Motorsport 2. It wasn't a real NSX. A photo of a Video Game NSX does not belong on the Motorsports forum.

Please inform me as to which of the moderators moved this thread and why it was moved.

Doesn't matter if it's from a video game. It's still a car aka transportation. My non-mod opinion anyway. :D

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I appreciate the feedback (truthfully I do), but IMO, fake car pictures don't belong on a motorsports forum. IMO, that's a mockery of what they do...hence the reason I posted it on this forum.

As a matter of fact, I believe something very similar was done when Gran Turismo 4 came out for PS2, and the person who posted the photo posted it here instead of in any of the sharing forums. It wasn't moved then. Why should mine be moved now?

Oh and I resized the photo to fit the 800x800 rule. Resampling caused the photo to grow to three times its original file size. Whoever is viewing it is going to have to wait three times longer to view it now. Seems rather counterproductive doesn't it?

Edit: If I was a motorsports photography, I wouldn't want to see that on my photo sharing board... would you (serious question. I'm curious)?

I dunno I think you're reading too much into it. Motorsports is anything involving a vehicle and sports, CG or otherwise. At least that's my take on it.

Why wasn't the GT4 thread moved? Maybe the mods missed it. Maybe at the time they felt it didn't need moved. I dunno.

If I was a motorsports photographer, I could care less what else is posted. A lawn mower race wouldn't offend me so why would a computer simulation?

If you had it here in Forum Talk, then it's definitely more appropriate in Motorsports than there (here), since Forum Talk is about the forum itself. If it was in General Chat then maybe it woulda stayed.

Once again, thank you very much for your opinions in the matter :) As crazy as it sounds, a lawn mower race would be considered a real "motorsport." Both vehicles have engines/motors. Both are real. The photo I posted is nothing more than a computer generated image and has nothing to do with real motorsports. Honestly, I don't have a 2005 NSX to compare it against...it may not even look all that much like an NSX.

I moved it because in my view it needed to be moved.
And 800x800 rule is not about files size, it is all about viewing convinience.
