I've scanned through the stickies on this particular forum, and I don't see anything on how to contact a moderator directly. Now, when I say directly, I don't mean like a specific moderator but more a "Need a Moderator" thread or "Contact a Moderator" link or thread or whatever means are necessary. Am I missing something?

this button leads to a form for reporting a certain post. It can also be used to report a problem with a thread although it links directly to the post. The report shows up on the Moderator's forum for reported posts where all Mods go to see if someone has a problem.
Think of it as a Bat Signal over Gotham

When I've used the "bat signal", it's stated that it is only for use with spam, conflict and general nastiness, which is fair enough. Should it also be used for less severe events, or is there an alternative? Case in point: drawing attention to a thread in the wrong forum.
Thanks.

(Ha! Safari 3 does spell-checking! Who'd a thunk it?)

Wrong forum, oversize images, are both good reasons for using the "Bat signal"

Cheers, thanks. There's one of mine that started life as a body question, but has morphed into a lens one. Stand by!
