Welcome back on the saddle! Do not hop off again. ;) Beautiful photos. She is an adorable child . If I had to choose a favorite, I'd say... hmmm... maybe #3.

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...

these are solid.

i took the liberty to edit a few of them. Of course, I did my best with the small files.

a few things that I think would make these a bit stronger...use a flash (something I am TERRIBLY guilty of not doing). I think it could have brought her out a bit better in 4 and cut down on the harsh shadows of the other one I edited.

as for the one of her in the grass, it breaks the 'rules' by her not looking into the frame, but I like it! cute shot.

all in all, nice job.

#3 would have been priceless if you had got her full body in the shot. But great captures either way.

What a cutie. I like everything about the first photo. The 2nd one is too dark for me, but otherwise I like it.

I don't care for the crop on the 3rd photo, but the idea is cute and would work with the full body in the shot.

The last one is nice, she has a great expression and beautiful eyes.

I really like the first three. There seems to be something fairytale like about them. Wow does she ever have beautiful eyes!

They look great! Although, #2 looks a bit underexposed. Good Job!

Ok, but why? If you're going to just say it's terrible, please back it up with some substance so the OP can understand your point-of-view. We're all here to help.

I like all the pics. The composition and how they've been cropped to tell a bit of a story, is great. I like the use of bokeh and the soft effects. Some fill flash would maybe have helped, but all in all I really like them.

I really like #2 althought it's perhaps a bit too dark.

the last shot looks like it has some improperly done processing. On my computer it looks like she has a white dot on each side of her mouth and lots od jpg artifacts. The other ones look great, this one just needs a touch up or two and it will be good.

Thank you all for your comments.. I appreciate them all good and bad.. lol
I did these for a friend of mine and just played with the pp a little but will lighten #2 since everyone agrees that its to dark.. My monitor must be off again. I have to admit that I am a little more on the abstract side hince the crops..

I like #1, its got a dreamy effect to it.
#2 is adorable as well just a bit dark on my monitor and it takes away from the photo I think, it should be bright and full of color seeing the time of year it is.
I dont' care for #3, I think I'd like to have seen a vertical shot with her in the upper middle or something if you wanted to emphasize her walking down the bridge. The composition don't work for me personally.
#4 is cute, a nice headshot, the coloring looks a bit off?
Other than that I think you did a great job. I think shooting outdoors is almost the hardest cuz you can't control lighting, etc.
