I'm tried a few times now to print a 4x6 on my IP3300 with bad results. Once I get the pic I want and go to print it shows that it is larger than the print area. So I have to resize the pixels so it'll fit on a 4x6. When it's printed it's not clear and the edges all seem to have a lot of noise. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not anywhere near an expert like some of the others on here, but I think if you could post more tech and workflow info, it would narrow it down like:

Program, source of pic (raw, jpeg, jpeg already saved at 72dpi, etc), some other program you use is showing sharp results, printing dpi?

Thanks,
Ken

I was trying to print a jpeg using photoshop 6.0. I then tried to print directly from canon zoombrowser ex and it allowed me to just select the large image and it printed nice on the 4x6. There are a few spots on the picture in the dark areas where you can see dots but that's probably a result of my non photo dedicated printer and the cheap photo paper I'm using.
