As I was sitting along the edge of a slough on some reeds I noticed this green head swimming along the edge of the reeds towards me. I took the first when he was about 20 yards away. The second was taken when he got right in front of me. The first is croped the scond is not. Unfortunately he was to close for my 400mm 5.6 to focus, his rear is ok but his head was in side the 11 feet minimum focus distance. Fun to get that close though!
