Helter EP Launch @ The Annandale Hotel

Hi everyone,

Took some shots at Helter's EP Launch at the Annandale Hotel last saturday night.

The Annandale can be notorious for poor lighting, however this show seemed to have pretty decent lights - well, good enough to drop down to ISO 800 and actually focus on the band's eyes anyway! - and here are some shots that seemed to work OK...

Yeah I know what you mean - its one of those things about the venue - the stage is quite small and with the amount of back-lighting they have there's only a very limited amount of scope to get decent shots in good conditions...

I'll see if I have any more that are a bit different for comparitive purposes...

#1 is different than the typical close up shot... I like the creative angle composition of it... The composition of the rest of the pics is also creative in color selection and framing... Very nice...

I really like the last shot, its got a fine Quality to it and nice colors,
