Here are a few more shots that i just finished PP. considering the fact that these were shot from a boat while hand holding the 500mm lens, i am quite happy with the result but i still have a long way to go:

More great shots Snir. I've been wondering what shooting from a boat would be like. :)

it's hard as hell man. everytime you get everything ready, the boat jerks a bit and you need to start again. honestly, i think that this was the hardest shoot i have done so far but it was amazing and you get to see things that you normally won't see from land.

500...handheld...in a friggin boat? Are you kidding? What are you some sort of photographic masochist? These are nothing short of incredible under those circumstances. In fact, way better than I can do on a tripod...with a gimbal...and a remote release on flat pavement. Good work.

Nice shots, Snir. Now that you have a couple of eagle shots, that should keep you happy for a while, right? Oh, yeah, I forgot, you also wanted to see and shoot a snow owl, didn't you? :)

Good work indeed. Shooting from a boat handheld is a challenge if the waves or wind are significant. I do this routinely with clients and by myself. In the lake country, a boat often is the only way to get the best shot. If the waves are fairly regular in their pattern, it's a lot like riding a horse, adapting yourself to the rocking of the water. But if the waves are disturbed or irregular, it's definitely a crap shoot, and there are many throwaway images. But when the focus locks on right and the IS kicks in and things all fall together, images like these are the result. Good work.

Nicely done Snir, I love the Eagle shots, but that Osprey In-flight is fantastic.
