heavy santa cruz psychonauts Mammatus (named after the heaviest cloud) provided warmup support for acid mothers temple late april...these guys were crushing...excellent modern psych, bludgeoning guitars and thrift shop sheets as mumus/togas. i really enjoyed 'em. the light was constant and boring, the performance not so.

Trying to think of something witty to say...and I notice the word 'acid' in your description. That's kind of the feeling I get from these pictures...I would almost venture to speculate that these guys experiment with more than music. Interesting set for sure. 1, 3 kind of scare me...like a one eyed guitar wielding pirate or something.

Btw, what method are you using for (in camera) WB? I was at a show the other day and accidentily used AWB for the first 15 shots or so...all ended up with clipped reds. I switched back to my usual 2800K and all was peachy again (no pun intended). Just curious.

in camera, i use nothing...i shoot RAW. these did turn out very orangish, which was a consequence of the stage lighting which never did change. i probably selected 'tungsten' as a quick WB but didn't do anything further.

My fav has to be #5... Quite a wild bunch from the looks of things... I bet they play some interesting music... They certainly look like they are getting into it...
